Alpaca Mittens

Alpaca mitts are exceptionally soft and warm due to the unique properties of alpaca fibre.  Alpaca fleece is made up of fine, hollow fibres.  These hollow shafts trap air, providing excellent insulation while remaining lightweight. This structure helps keep your hands warm without feeling bulky.

Alpaca fibre does not contain lanolin, which is a greasy substance found in sheep wool. This makes alpaca  hypoallergenic, and less prone to retaining moisture, further contributing to warmth without feeling damp.

Once our mitts are hand made, we full them, this helps to make them windproof.
